Screen Tints
- Customer supplied films should be output with the screen ruling at
100 lines per inch and an elliptical dot shape.
- Use a tint range of 30-80% when printing on the silver reflective coating
or metallized surface.
- Use a tint range of 15-85% when printing over a solid color.
- Duotone screen angles must be 30o apart.
- Printing of gradient tints or vignettes may encounter banding (changing
of densities in distinct steps instead of smooth and gradual throughout
the image.
